MERCAPTAN ODOUR CONTROL

• Activated Carbon Filtration – A range of custom built activated carbon filtration drums are available in sizes ranging from 20L to 200L

• Spill Response – I.C.E. offer a range of specialised mercaptan spill kits & vacuum systems to address gas odorant leaks. Every facility dealing with gas odorants should have a spill kit stored onsite.

• MON – Mercaptan Odour Neutraliser: This product is applied as an atomised spray and used to neutralise and eliminate local odour discharges created from mercaptan gas odorants.

• MTW – Mercaptan Tool Wash: This product is applied as a liquid wash for tools and equipment that have been tainted with mercaptans

Venturi System

I.C.E. provides customised mercaptan training & emergency spill response exercises to assist customers understand gas odorants. I.C.E. offer a range of customised training sessions, both onsite and in-house - such training sessions include both desktop and practical implementation, and can range from half day to multiple day sessions. Below is a demonstration of the I.C.E Venturi 'vacuum' system, designed for rapid response clean-ups of highly odorous mercaptan spills.
